Privacy Policy

1. Who controls your personal information

Headstart Growth and Media is a trading name of Wordsmith Language Solutions, a sole proprietorship owned by Mayura Sumant Satarkar. Wordsmith Language Solutions determines why and how personal information submitted to Headstart is used.

This policy applies to Headstart's own website and customer relationships. Tools that Headstart may install for a client are not automatically tools used on this website.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Quote information: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, selected package, add-ons, calculated estimate, quote reference and submission time.
• Contact information: details and messages sent through our form, email, phone or WhatsApp.
• Customer and project information: business details, billing information, questionnaire responses, brand assets, reference material, content, feedback, approvals and communications needed to deliver the work.
• Payment records: invoice, tax, payment status and transaction-reference information. The calculator does not collect card, bank-account or UPI credentials.
• Approved public material: a completed project or testimonial that a customer permits us to display.

Information collected automatically

Google Analytics may record pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, referring pages, session information and interactions. Google reCAPTCHA may collect device, network and interaction information to distinguish people from abusive automated traffic. Hosting systems may create technical logs containing an IP address, request time, requested page, browser details and error or security information.

3. Why we collect and use information

We do not sell personal information. A quote request does not give permission for unrelated promotional marketing. If we introduce marketing, we will ask for separate consent and provide an unsubscribe method.

4. Calculator estimates and sales follow-up

The calculator requires a name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number before showing an estimate. It also records your selected services, estimate and submission details. It does not create a binding quotation or take payment.

Our sales team may contact you by email, phone and WhatsApp about the quote you requested. A salesperson reviews the scope before sending a formal quotation and, if you proceed, a payment link. You can stop follow-up by replying or emailing hr@headstartgrowth.in. Withdrawal does not affect earlier processing.

5. Google Analytics, cookies and similar technologies

Headstart uses Google Analytics to measure visits and interactions. It may set or read identifiers and receive device, browser, approximate-location and usage information when a page loads. Analytics is not required to request a quote or contact us.

At launch, analytics may load when you visit rather than waiting for prior opt-in consent. You can limit or opt out using browser cookie controls, a browser content blocker or the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Clearing cookies may remove a saved preference.

Essential storage may support security, forms and preferences. Google reCAPTCHA helps detect spam and abusive automated submissions. We do not currently use Meta Pixel or advertising cookies on Headstart's website.

6. Who processes information for us

• Formspree: contact-form and quote-form processing, submission storage, spam filtering and notification delivery to our sales team.
• Zoho Mail: customer communications and sales follow-up after a submission reaches our team.
• Google Analytics: website measurement and reporting.
• Google reCAPTCHA: spam and automated-abuse prevention.
• GoDaddy: website hosting and technical logs on the selected India hosting service.
• Advisers and authorities: where reasonably needed for accounting, legal advice, claims or compliance.

We disclose only the information reasonably needed for each role. Providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

Payment providers

No payment provider operates inside the calculator. If a salesperson sends a Razorpay or another approved payment link, that provider processes payment credentials under its own privacy notice. Headstart receives transaction and status information needed to record the payment.

7. How long we keep information

• Unsuccessful enquiries and quote leads: up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless earlier deletion is requested or law requires longer retention.
• Customer, invoice and core project records: up to eight financial years, or longer while a claim, audit or statutory requirement remains active.
• Project working material: removed or reduced earlier when no longer needed for delivery, support, approval evidence or law.
• Analytics and technical logs: retained for the configured provider period and removed when no longer needed for measurement, reliability or security.
• Suppression records: a minimal record may be kept to honour an opt-out request.

We may retain anonymised information that no longer identifies a person.

8. How we protect information

Headstart uses proportionate safeguards including restricted staff access, strong unique passwords, multi-factor authentication where available, software updates, backups and vendor access controls. We document, investigate and contain suspected incidents and make notifications where applicable law requires them.

No online system is completely secure. We do not promise absolute security. Do not send passwords, payment credentials or unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary forms, email or WhatsApp.

9. Your choices and requests

Depending on the law in force and the circumstances, you may ask us to:

• explain whether and how we process information about you;
• provide access to information associated with you;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
• erase information no longer required, subject to legal and contractual retention duties;
• withdraw consent or stop quote follow-up; and
• record and resolve a privacy grievance.

Email hr@headstartgrowth.in with enough detail to locate the record. We may verify your identity and may retain information needed for tax, fraud prevention, claims or another lawful requirement.

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 have staged commencement dates. We will update our processes as additional provisions take effect. This policy does not reduce any right available under law when you make a request.

10. Privacy grievances

Contact our grievance representative first so we can investigate and respond.

Describe the issue, relevant interaction and outcome you seek. We will acknowledge and handle it within the period required by applicable law. If an applicable statutory escalation channel is available and the issue remains unresolved, you may use that channel.

11. Children and contractual capacity

Headstart serves businesses and people legally competent to contract for them. We do not knowingly target children or invite them to submit quote or project information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. International customers and processing

Headstart accepts overseas customers only through separately negotiated contracts. Although the selected website hosting uses an India data centre, Google, Zoho, Formspree or a payment service may use support, storage or processing infrastructure in other countries. Location can vary by provider and account configuration.

Where cross-border processing occurs, we use provider terms, access restrictions and proportionate safeguards. We will follow any transfer restriction that becomes applicable under Indian law.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our website, providers, practices or law changes. The revised page will show its effective date. If a change materially affects a choice already made, we will provide an additional notice or seek fresh consent where required.
